Hello from Ft. Carson, CO

So I haven't posted anything in awhile because life has been nothing short of CHAOS!!! Last Monday my brother-in-law and I drove from Ohio all the way out to Ft. Carson, Colorado so I could move on base with my hubby before he deploys in March. It was such a long drive! Not to mention we had my two pups with us so had to stop even more for them....luckily they were given some Benadryl first! :) All together it took us about 25 hours to get to the hotel but we did stop at a rest stop for a few hours to nap.

Since getting here it's been pretty hectic. We got our on base housing on Friday and it's not too bad for just the 2 of us. The backyard is pretty bad nothing but mud and the living room and dining room are soo tiny but I do have 3 closets in my bedroom!! The movers got here on Saturday and it went pretty well. Of course my couch was too big to fit into the house so we had to do some minor construction to this stupid staircase shelf thing, but everything's good now. Since getting our stuff it has just been nonstop unpacking and organizing and running a million errands to get the things we still needed to buy including our washer and dryer.

We are hopefully getting internet and cable next week so I'll be able to blog more and post some gorgeous pictures of the mountains! The hubby gets his pre-deployment leave next week too so we'll be doing lots of site seeing and maybe going to Cali or Denver for a bit. So that should be exciting! Well I must get back to the chaos, but until then here's a quote to keep you thinking....

Hello there Darling!

So where do I start? Well let's see....my name is Ashley Beth. I'm a newlywed and an Army wife that is so proud of her hubby! I currently live in Ohio, but in about a week I'll be moving to Colorado which is exciting and sucks at the same time. I'm blunt, honest, swear, and say things I really shouldn't so Sorry in advance if you don't like what you read. :) I decided to start a blog for a lot of reasons. I wanted to get all my thoughts out there. I wanted to share my advice, tips, thoughts, etc. I wanted to keep my friends and family updated once I move. This blog really doesn't have one theme. It's exactly what the title says, a look inside my mind! I'll talk about makeup, beauty, shopping, and fashion...a little obsession of mine. I'll probably discuss music and movies that are out. I'll talk about what's going on in my life as a Army Wife. It'll really be about anything I want to talk about that day. Well I hope everyone follows me and enjoys!
